1. surround yourself in nature (take a walk, a hike, sit in the sun)
2. free your mind in art (paint, draw, get crafty at home)
3. get lost in a good book (nothing like getting cozy on the couch with a good read)
4. disconnect from social media (or any media in general. just turn off those screens)
5. engage in low impact activities (walking, yoga, pilates, and gentle stretching come to mind)
6. write down intrusive thoughts (or any thoughts for that matter. get them off your chest and onto paper)
7. visualize your future self (what does he/she look like? who do they spend their time with? what do they spend their energy on?)
